Ray of Hope

Gen. 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Gen. 1:3   And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

When there is something without form and void, darkness is always there. There is no life, it is deserted and always awkward. Imagine a place where there is nothing in form, or nothing is in order, there is nothing in which you can be certain of, or nothing would come out as you have planned. Does this ring a bell in you? Yes it's this world where we live with so many beautiful things around but when we keenly see, nothing is in order, there is nothing you can plan, life here is uncertain. Human evil made this wonderful planet into this misery.

When God made the heavens and the earth, the earth was without form and void, it was orderless and empty raw material in chaotic waters. In your life, you may be in a similar situation of lifeleseness and uncertainty and dark. All of us in this world, one way or the other suffer this. When I write this article, even me in my life is going through this dark patch where it seems hopeless and I feel this pain and darkness where I am uncertain of what am I going to do next. But when I go through this first page of the Bible, i find this amazing fact that God called out light in such a terrible situation and then everything changes, it may take sometime to make something orderly and beautiful, but it will be worth it.

Whatever life and greenery and beautiful mountains with colorful flowers and white carpet snow and lakes and oceans etc, all these came out of this dark chaotic water covered formless and empty space. This teaches me a lesson. There is full potential of life and beauty and order in the dark empty and formless chaotic waterly space. All it takes is work. Yes God worked to make it orderly and beautiful and gave life. Our dark situations may have potential for our future bright beautiful life, we may not see that. But if we trust God and if we willfully obey God's spirit hovering in our lives, then these darker situations will meet a ray of light which will make things orderly and beautiful and lively. Let us trust God and move on.
May God bless you this day.
