The Global Lie: How the World Whitewashes Terror and Demonizes Israel

When Hamas terrorists stormed Israeli towns on October 7, 2023, murdering over 1,200 civilians in cold blood, raping women, burning families alive, and abducting over 240 hostages, the world watched in horror. For a brief moment, global leaders condemned the massacre and acknowledged Israel’s right to defend herself. But that clarity did not last long. Within weeks, the narrative had shifted: Israel was being branded the aggressor, accused of “genocide,” and Hamas — a terror group openly committed to Israel’s destruction — was suddenly painted as the victim.

This reversal of truth is not just hypocrisy. It is a dangerous global lie that fuels terrorism and undermines the very principles of justice and humanity.

1. Hamas’s Atrocities Are Conveniently Forgotten

The October 7 massacre was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. Hamas did not target soldiers; they slaughtered festival-goers, children in their beds, and elderly grandparents. Their own leaders boasted about it, and their charter explicitly calls for the annihilation of Israel.

Yet, instead of sustained outrage at Hamas, the spotlight shifted almost overnight to Israel’s military response. The world chose to forget the root cause: Hamas’s deliberate strategy of murdering Israelis and then hiding behind Palestinian civilians as human shields.

2. Israel’s Right to Self-Defense Is Demonized

No other country in the world would be expected to sit silently while rockets rain down on its cities and its people are butchered. Israel, like any sovereign nation, has the legal and moral right to defend itself.

And yet, every Israeli airstrike on Hamas targets is weaponized by propaganda machines to accuse Israel of “war crimes” or “genocide.” But the facts say otherwise:

  • Israel issues warnings before strikes, something no other military does in urban warfare.

  • Hamas deliberately launches rockets from schools, mosques, and hospitals to maximize civilian casualties.

  • Israel allows humanitarian aid to enter Gaza even while under fire — while Hamas steals it to fund its war machine.

3. The World Rewards Terror With Sympathy

Instead of holding Hamas accountable for using Palestinian civilians as pawns, much of the global media and political class have turned their fury on Israel. This perverse inversion rewards terrorism: massacre Jews, hide behind civilians, and then watch the world condemn the victims for defending themselves.

The United Nations, which should uphold justice, has passed more resolutions against Israel than against all the world’s dictatorships combined. Human-rights groups churn out reports that minimize Hamas’s crimes while inflating Israel’s. The “progressive” left in the West chants “from the river to the sea” — a genocidal slogan that calls for the elimination of Israel altogether.

4. The Real Genocide Lies in Hamas’s Goals

If there is any genocidal intent in this conflict, it comes not from Israel but from Hamas. Their charter is clear: the eradication of the Jewish state. Their actions — mass slaughter of civilians, kidnapping children, indoctrinating their own youth with martyrdom — reveal an ideology bent on extermination.

Israel, by contrast, seeks only to live in peace and security. Every war it fights is defensive. Every casualty is a tragedy. But if Israel laid down its weapons tomorrow, it would be annihilated. If Hamas laid down its weapons tomorrow, there would be peace.

5. The Lie Has Consequences

By buying into the false narrative of “Israeli genocide,” the world is emboldening terrorists everywhere. When terrorists see that slaughtering civilians leads not to condemnation but to international sympathy, they are incentivized to repeat such horrors. This is not only Israel’s battle — it is a test for civilization itself.

Supporting Israel means standing against terrorism, against the global lie, and for the truth: Israel is not committing genocide. Israel is defending her people against an enemy that openly seeks her destruction. The true betrayal is from world leaders, activists, and media outlets who twist reality and side with killers instead of victims.

Conclusion

History will judge whether the world chose to stand with democracy, truth, and justice — or with terror, lies, and genocide-deniers. Today, the choice is clear: Israel is fighting for survival, while Hamas and its apologists are fighting for death. The world’s moral compass is broken, but facts remain stubborn: Israel is the victim, Hamas is the aggressor.
